Bannockburn Chardonnay is made with dry grown fruit from the estate Olive Tree Hill and Winery Block Vineyards in the Moorabool Valley, just outside the township of Bannockburn.
The fruit is whole bunch pressed, settled overnight and wild fermented in French oak. Most undergoes malolactic fermentation with minimal stirring. The wine is left on lees for 10 months before bottling.
Vibrant yellow, Bannockburn Chardonnay has stone fruit flavours, fresh citrus acidity and classic Bannockburn structure. Cellaring potential is 10 years.
